How Many Watts or Amps are you Consuming for your Home Crypto Mining Farm?
I'm surprised it's not against local code to have a separate structure that close to your house. Good job on tidying up and attaching the conduit with clamps and making sure everything is clean, well supported and sealed up.
Romex is made for inside walls. It’s not engineered for conduit but you have to use it sometimes. If you ran it fully through conduit you could have used THHN. It has a slicker insulation.
I only have FOUR 15 amp breakers for my whole apparent, plus the stove… and no 240 volt access (without doing some "creative" coupling to two outlets at once)
Absolutely never enough power! You could have a megawatt and it wouldn’t be enough….
Looking back on it – rather than running 4 x 30A cables, do you think it might have been better to run a single 100A or 200A cable and put a small sub-board in the mining shed, and then run the 30A cables from that? It would also have made any future expansion even simpler.
I noticed you had good voltage 247.3 that should help you stay under the max amps, i have a shed inside my barn, I just ran a 100amp breaker from my main panel to a 100amp sub panel inside the shed and just have 3 30amps in there and 2 more elsewhere in barn
Great video bro. It always amazes me to electrical installs. You should try to pull 750 mcm parallels aluminum electrical cables through conduit for 800amp 3 phase service (8 cables, about an inch thick), it was insane! My forearms still hurt and we had 8 guys pulling/pushing.
9 x 24A is over 200A. If you were to use the entire amperage. Do you have a 400A service or just planning to monitor total to keep under 200A manually?
Why not add some solar to your setup? Initial costs?
Great video! MO POWA!
Sadly, I'm limited to only 1x 20a 240v circuit here where I rent 😢 16 amps fills up quick!
Great video Hobbyist! Love watching expansion videos, it's always fun seeing you guys expand and grow!
Please use an auger drill bit instead of a spade. Or a self feeding spade but the difference in drilling in studs is amazing
It looks like there is always a fun upgrade when it comes to mining and expanding. Thanks for the videos…
Not with the Hoochie daddy shorts😂😂😂😂
As a fellow electrician. I appreciate you saying all that
Not with all the free stuff you get to sell us.
THM awesome 👏 work and man you are so right, you always need more power or limit yourself to the latest most efficient miners and rotate out older miners, BTW I like the junction box you used, what is the model number for that box? Got a link?
What program do you use to make thumbnail pictures?
Conduit lube is a must
