Welcome back to our channel! Today is a project day over here at our Asic mining shed. We’ve been managing this prospect for a while now but we need to regulate a few things, clean a few things, rearrange some stuff and, of course, add the last few Asic miners that we procured on our road trip.

Getting Started with the Project Day

Well, we are just getting started here after getting back from our exciting road trip. The extra stuff thrown in with our purchase has arrived. The package includes three K1s, three K2s, three K3m, and a few Jazz miners.

Refurbishment of our Mining Shed

The main purpose of the refurbishment is to upgrade our Asic miners set up and running inside the shed. We also need to replace the flex pipe with a rubber coupler in every Asic Miner. It not only makes it super easy to work on, but also saves us from the fuss of the foil tape. Also, we are adding another shelf for better space management.

Emptied the Shed & Improved Efficiency

We spent about 2 hours emptying out the shed and cleaning up. You don’t realize how many miners you have until you start stacking them and laying them out. We took this chance to improve efficiency and made the Asics removal process significantly simpler and faster with the AC Infinity 8 inch coupler.

Reorganizing Space

We reorganized our storage onto the new shelf built. We have additional storage for our extra cables, tools, inline fan, pivotal pleb boards, power cables, etc. As for the workbench, we added all of the K2s across the board. This new setup offers ample space to work on while having easy access to required tools and equipment.

A Week After

Results of Project Day

It’s safe to say that the project day turned out quite successful. The miners were organized neatly with rubber couplers. Our new shelf provided ample space for stocking necessary parts and equipment. Also, we were able to set up all the K2s across the bottom of the workbench.

Future Improvements

There’s no denying that improvements can always be made. We did have to set up a temporary network switch, but we plan to upgrade to six ethernet connections on each side for better miner management. We’re also patiently waiting for a shipment with two more Asic miners that will be set up in the last two slots available.

Wrap Up

The shed revamp and upgrade went surprisingly well and we are quite happy with the results. We’re currently running 55,000 watts on our miners, and we have the capacity to go up to 76,800 watts without exceeding the 80% rule of our total 400 amp service.
