An Ultimate Comparison: IPOLO V1 Mini Classic and Other Graphics Cards
Are you currently mining Ethereum Classic? If yes, you might want to know how the IPOLO V1 Mini Classic ASIC miner stacks up against other graphics cards. In this article, we will take an in-depth look at the IPOLO V1 Mini Classic and compare its performance with a range of popular graphics cards. So, let’s get started!
Meet the IPOLO V1 Mini Classic
Before we delve into the comparisons, let’s get acquainted with the star of this article – the IPOLO V1 Mini Classic. This mini ASIC miner is specifically designed for mining Ethereum Classic and is capable of delivering 130 MH/s (Mega Hashes per second) at just 104 watts. This makes it an interesting contender when compared to other popular graphics cards out there.
Comparing Hash Rates & Efficiency Ratings
To determine how the IPOLO V1 Mini Classic stacks up against other graphics cards, we will compare the hash rate and efficiency ratings for each card. Efficiency rating is calculated by dividing the hash rate by the power consumption (watts).
For this comparison, we have picked a range of popular graphics cards and collected data on their hash rates, power consumption, and efficiency ratings from WhatToMine, a popular source for mining information.
Please note that these numbers are based on generic hash rates and watts, and can vary depending on your specific overclock and under-volt settings.
The Graphics Card Showdown
Let’s take a look at how the IPOLO V1 Mini Classic compares to other popular graphics cards in terms of hash rate, power consumption, and efficiency ratings.

Are you currently Mining Ethereum Classic? If so, on what hardware?
2 x "ipollo v1 mini classic plus" 270+ mh/s, and a open 6x's RX5700 XT's 300+ mh/s, Desktop gaming PC 3060 ti, 50mh/s, 6x's 1660 ti, 170+ mh/s
Did I win?
That's fine bro but they are not match with gpu in price value unless they can give us with rtx 3090 or 3080 gpu price. However efficiency is best on those. I like to buy 5 x 3090 instead of 1 that ipolo.
Do you have any discount for the ipolo?
hi. idk if u can still win this thing but i want to participate. i’m not mining at all but i would love to mine. i’m running some nodes but that’s it. usually iam buying cryptocurrencies bc buying some mining hardware is too much money for me. so sign me up. hopefully i will win this prize. and if not, congrats to the winner 🙂
I won! Thanks 😎 can I mine solo? Lol
I won! Thanks 😎 can I mine solo? Lol
I got 3 – 3070 pc i am thinking of mining ETC when ETH can not be mined. Do not know if i should go solo or go with something like 2miners and get on a pool. But if so many goes to ETC is it even a reality of should i at that point due to the sheer amount going to it
Hey hobbyist miner can you only mine ethereum or can you mine ethereum classic on this one as well
I don't understand why all these ETH/ETC asic miners have low memory. Memory is cheap… what am I missing? They are making these things today with a death date set on them… makes no sense. ?
I m running two iPollo v1 mini classic, one ipollo mini classic plus for etc and one ym200 on eth. I m too lazy to build gpu rigs. I m only using asics. Except for one laptop with rx3080 running umineable for cosmos and it’s cpu for xmr.
Love the idea of GPU mining. About to get into it now GPU price's are dropping… Yer maybe not the best time to do but You've got to be in it to win it right?
That said especially if your electronic costs have gone up (a LOT here in the UK) the efficacy makes alot of sence.
i dont have any miner, but i will buy one or something 🙂 😀
can i get one too😊
According to the website, this ASIC cannot do ETH due to the DAG size, correct? So this is for ETChash coins only?
1070: 30 – 33 mh and 90-100 watts on etc. 140 watts if works on eth. The reason of that difference is the dag size and the memory issue on 10-series. The same incorrect info on 1060. On ETC that GPU's hashrate is 24-25.5 mh with 60-75 watts.
Uh what 3060 is only doing 41 MH/s right now? LHR is unlocked. Those numbers are totally skewed. And what unholy crap overclocks do you have going on… A 3080 Ti mining ethash at 330W??! I'm mining on one on this PC right now at .46 EFF
I’m not currently but only because eth is more profitable on the hardware I mine with atm
yes but again the ipolo is so dang expensive it makes it not worth it… the memory size limitation alone makes this obsolete in a few years or less
ill stick to my 6600's and 1660 supers
Yes mining away with a few Rtx 3070s and hopefully I stack some coins! Also just bought the v1 mini classic!
I have just my laptop running on etc right now at about 27 mh. The rest of my farm is on ethereum. I have thought about getting one of the Ipollo miners but they only have 3.6 gb of memory so they can only mine for a little under 2 years until they become doorstops
no offense bro I don't know if you really got terrible silicon lottery or you simply did lazy overclocking. your overclocks are really inaccurate. my 3080ti does 117 mh/s @ 270w (and this is my worst performing 3080ti of the 8 I own). the 3080ti easily beats the 3090 by a mile. you should really start taking some time doing in depth testing instead of trying to push videos every single day. your data has been getting quite unreliable especially in the overclocking category. hope you take it in the right spirit
Warning! Don´t buy this, because you will be able to mine on it just about 1,5 years before the dag size is going to be too high.
Awesome vid dude. I have been looking at it because of the lower electric. Right now it is all about etc paid out to btc. However, I am building a 20 series rig in the next few days. Using some cards that are being stored. Probably will start ETC then.
This unit's performance is great, BUT the memory limitation is embarrassing. At the current price, its simply too expensive. Its a big bet placed on the future price of ETC.
Wow i hope i can win this time on this Gave Away
Im currently mining ETC on an RTX 3050, bought it and i dont know what to do with it so i threw it on ETC
Not mining Eth classic, only learned Eth mining and honestly probably should look for videos on Eth classic setup.
i bought the same ipollo 130 MH/s ETC miner and have had it for a couple weeks it seems to be doing a good job, quiet and efficient I would love to have another one to grow my ETC farming!
I have 1 rig mining ETC, it consists of 3 x XFX RX6600, 2 x Sapphire RX 590, 1 x Powercolor RX 580, 1 x Asus RX5700 XT, Total hash rate 230 MH/s.
This is a cool giveaway idea!
don't buy it.
How fast do they ship them?
Just the chart alone is very interesting and informative.
Comparing the RX 6600s to the GTX 1660s, that efficiency.
GTX-1650…!!!
I'm mining etc on 7 rx 470 mining versions. They are in a custom enclosure that I made from scratch with 4 delta fans… I messaged you on Twitter asking you to buy them lol
am currently mining ETH with the jasminer x4-1u until the dag hits , then gonna switch to ETC
and i like the way of the giveaway 👍
Not mining yet but hopefully soon, love your channel!
I have not yet mined any.. but from next week. I will be trying etc out. 3060tis and 20 series ive been getting eth and flux/ rvn …. Thanks alot hobbyist Keep up the great work ..!
All my 4gb cards are on ETC. I started mining initially with the 4gb Powercolor RX570 RedDragon I bought for $100 new and unopened back in the end of 2019 and it's been mining since. She's ROId many times now. It was paid for when I sold some of my ETC at $120 😂
