Welcome back to the Hobbyist Miner Channel
Today is a special day in the world of crypto mining. We embark on a journey to reorganize our mining operations and revamp our existing shed for optimal crypto mining. This adventure involves cleaning and inspecting our Asics miners, recording their serial numbers for insurance purposes, and finally migrating to our new shed to kick-start our mining rig.
So, miners, what mining pool are your Asics on?
This is a big question every serious crypto miner grapples with. When considering which mining pool to use for your Asics, several primary factors play a critical role – reliability, security, profitability, and uptime. These are precisely the reasons why we chose to run our new Bitcoin Caspa and script miners on viabtc.com.
ViaBTC.com’s Unique Features
Apart from its reliability and security, viabtc.com goes a step further by offering smart mining. This unique mining mechanism unlocks higher returns for Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash miners. Additionally, the platform sets itself apart with hourly payouts, auto withdrawal, and a conversion system, all of which provide added convenience to miners.
Moving to our current mining shed
The day is a hot one, with temperatures soaring to about 95. Nonetheless, we ventured to the current shed in the afternoon when it’s mostly shaded. Our first task was to clean all the necessary equipment and lay them out on a tarp.
What We Are Working with Today
Amid the buzzing of the fans, we consulted the temperature readings of our devices inside the shed. Using around 25,000 Watts in total, the miners were operating at about 150 amps.
In today’s agenda, we intended to pull out our s19j Pro that’s been running for months, primarily with a fanless system and AC Infinity inline fan. We also looked into our E9 Pro, s19j Pro Plus with 117 terahash, the KD light, and a few more s19j Pros.
Although we did not plan on moving anything from our top shelf, we noted several units that required attention, especially the X5 unit that was not mining at all. On the other hand, we decided to leave the GPU mining rigs untouched, as they would need a separate redesign.
Cleaning Out The Asics
After laying out all of our Asics, we manually cleaned and blew out each one. By the time we were done, they were looking decent and ready for the move. As we were not worrying about the cables and other peripherals, we had the empty shelf ready for the next step of the process.
Dismantling the Shroud System
The task ahead involved taking apart our shroud system that had been in place for almost a year. Although we expected a massive pile-up of dust, the unit proved to be surprisingly clean, probably due to our regular replacement of filters.
The following steps involved installing the original fans, screwing in the power supply mounts, and finally plugging the fans into the control board. After a significant amount of effort, they were ready to make the trip to the new shed.
On to the New Shed
With our cleaned and inspected Asics packed into the car, the journey to the new shed marked the end of today’s work. Although the process was quite tedious, the result will undoubtedly be rewarding.
A teaser for the next episode
In the next episode, we plan to unveil a detailed tour of our new mining shed before we get down to business. The next set of tasks involves getting all of the new Asics into the shed, fire up, and start mining.

I have room for more ASIC Miners in this Shed, What ASICS do you recommend I purchase?
I really like your new miner, do mind sharing the noise leve and what you used to suppress that?
BOOOO! I thought this would be the last one in the series. But Noooo, you got to make me wait. LOL😂
I'm thinking it's about time for me to move on. When I Subscribed to this channel it was all about GPU Mining and system builds. Now it's all ASIC, ASIC, ASIC. I'm more about a classic Corvette and look what I built. Not Look at my brand new Vet Look what I pulled money out of my butt and bought.
Yo! Man you need to build a wall. "Zone1" cold air and "zone2" hot air and the ASICs spaces in a square in the wall. If you do that, you don`t need huge outtake fans….
ty for celcius. finaly u muricas learn
Your teasing me Mr hobbyist
Sweet, Looking forward to part 2
