The Antminer S19j Pro: Maximizing Efficiency and Power

One of the most powerful Bitcoin miners provided by Wadham is the Antminer S19j Pro. This cutting-edge ASIC mining hardware features a hashrate of 100 terahashes per second while maintaining an energy efficiency rate of approximately 30 joules per terahash. This ensures that the miner generates the maximum revenue possible while keeping electricity costs as low as possible.

Setting up a Mining Operation in a Shed

Many hobbyist miners choose to set up their mining operations in a shed to keep heat and noise away from their living spaces. However, this requires proper ventilation and cooling solutions to ensure that the equipment operates efficiently and at optimal temperatures.

Intakes and Exhaust Fans

To keep the mining shed well-ventilated, it is crucial to install intake vents with proper filters on one side of the shed and exhaust fans on the other. These will help circulate the air inside the shed, preventing the temperature from getting too high, which could potentially damage the mining equipment.

Installing the Antminer S19j Pro

To properly install the Antminer S19j Pro, the fans on the front and back of the device must be removed. This will allow for the installation of the new cooling kit, which includes a shroud that will funnel air directly into the power supply and an exhaust shroud for the back of the device. The kit also includes dummy plugs to help seal the device and prevent any unwanted air leaks.

Using an AC Infinity 8 Inch Inline Fan

With the fans removed from the Antminer S19j Pro, an AC Infinity 8-inch inline fan will take over the role of cooling the device. This fan is both quieter and more energy-efficient than the original fans, operating at around 800 CFM instead of the original 2,000 RPM.

The inline fan can be connected to the intake shroud, ensuring that the proper amount of air is circulated throughout the device and power supply. To secure the connection between the inline fan and the shroud, a foil tape can be used for extra stability and airtightness.

Temperature Monitoring and Regulation

It is essential to monitor the temperatures of the mining equipment regularly to ensure it operates at optimal levels. Using an AC Infinity inline fan comes with a controller that can be programmed to regulate the fan speed according to the temperature inside the shed. This way, the fan will slow down or speed up as needed to maintain a healthy mining environment.

In Conclusion

To maximize efficiency and power in any mining operation, proper cooling solutions and equipment-based enhancements should not be overlooked. Especially with high-performance ASIC miners such as the Antminer S19j Pro, investing in durable and energy-efficient accessories will go a long way in prolonging the life of your investment and ultimately leading to higher revenue generation.

  1. I wish you would have had it running just like that to see how the sound was. I plan on doing this for my K7 but it will remain in my basement. I will be putting a large cylinder filter on it but would be nice to know if it's still quiet enough for a house. Thanks

  2. If that fan that is connected to a different breaker trip out and that miner is running over 80 internally boards are going to get burn as the miner is going to continue running because since original fans been remove it won’t shut down right on time or right away and therefore over heat. I have that same issue running the same setup. Best thing you can do is connect that ac infinity to the same breaker that miner is running so if one of them trip ( miner or fan) both would shut down at the same time

  3. Hello. Love your videos dude. Can you tell us about liquidity mining and the $ token? I believe that this is really a gem project, and it will fly to the moon in the near future. Grizzlyfi

  4. $180 for just extruded ABS is waaay to much for me. Even if they are injection molding it on the scale (they are most likely selling it at) doesn't constitute for that price point

  5. I will tell you right now that the guy at "Fruits and Associates" makes the BEST shrouds. Period. I have tried them all – by everyone who makes them – and by far theirs are the best for several reasons.

Also, just a comment that all our S19J Pros run pretty great until we start adding fan spoofers. I've been told the S19jPro models (the only ones we have, rn) are very very buggy firmware wise, so a word of caution to anyone looking to alter an S19jPro

  6. do you have an email to send an inquiry to the builder fruit and associates? wanted to know if you can build or have built other shrouds than what they have listed. ty

  7. THM wow awesome 👏 content! Looks like you are going to make a part 2? Video did not state that but can’t wait to see it in action, and the miner looks so cool with the shroud too! Can’t wait for the next video!

  8. I would be nervous completely removing the fans on the Asic. Especially with the inline fan on a separate breaker. What if for some reason the 120V circuit breaker pops but the S19 keeps chugging along on the 240V circuit? Hopefully the thermal protections will be fast enough to shut it down but 3kW heats stuff fast… I have a similar setup but I keep the original fans on. They do very little noise at 2-3k rpm but will ramp up if the inline fan breaks or shuts down.
